I'm starting a 30-Day Minimalism Challenge today. Why am I sharing this with you? Perhaps you would like to join me. Maybe you noticed, I favor clean, simple things. Yet sometimes when I wake up, I find myself smack dab in the middle of ChaosLand. This challenge is (hopefully) going to change some of that for me.
Before I discovered this challenge, my life was gravitating toward making my life simpler. This task went beyond cleaning out a closet and trashing a pair of old airbrushed jeans stolen circa Bell Biv DeVoe Poison video days. I desired a more intentional life, one full of more meaningful relationships. I was lacking time and energy… so anything guilty of zapping or draining both of those needed to go. Slowly, I felt more connected and I loved it so much that I was ready to do more.
Okay, so here goes… day one. What's in store? Well you're not going to know about it because I'll be offline. *giggle*
Day 1: Stay offline for one day.
"Social media, endless news streams and articles all drain our energy and keep us in a constant distracted state. So today: Log off and enjoy the calmness of staying disconnected."
Since I'll be MIA today, I'm going to give you a heads up on Day 2 in case you want a jumpstart. Meditate for fifteen minutes.
